Our agreement for professional car rental services

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Ghani Rent A Car website (ghanirentacar.com) and our car rental services. By accessing our site or applying for a rental vehicle, you agree to be bound by these terms in full. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.

2. Eligibility and User Responsibilities

To be eligible for our car rental services, you must:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a valid Canadian driver's license (Class 4C or equivalent as required for ride-sharing).
  • Maintain an active and good-standing Uber driver account.
  • Provide accurate and complete information during the application process.
  • Maintain the vehicle in a clean and roadworthy condition.

3. Booking and Application Terms

All rental applications submitted through our website are subject to review and approval. Submission of an application does not guarantee a vehicle rental. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. Approval is based on background checks, driving history, and vehicle availability.

4. Payment Terms

Rental fees are calculated on a weekly or monthly basis as specified in your rental agreement. Payments must be made in advance. Failure to make timely payments may result in the immediate repossession of the vehicle and termination of the rental agreement. Our "All-Inclusive" price includes fuel (via provided gas card), insurance, and maintenance as outlined in your specific plan.

5. Vehicle Usage Rules

Vehicles provided by Ghani Rent A Car are intended exclusively for professional ride-sharing use (Uber). The following rules apply:

  • The vehicle must not be driven by anyone other than the authorized driver.
  • Smoking and pets are strictly prohibited inside the vehicles.
  • The vehicle must remain within the permitted geographic area (Greater Montreal Area) unless prior written authorization is obtained.
  • Illegal usage of the vehicle will lead to immediate contract termination and legal action.

6. Limitation of Liability

Ghani Rent A Car shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the service.

7. Cancellation Policy

Either party may terminate the rental agreement with a minimum notice period (as specified in your individual contract). Vehicles must be returned to our designated showroom in the same condition as received, allowing for normal wear and tear.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
